2WD & 4WD dyno testing and tuning in Larnaca, Cyprus

Controlled run-in, calibration and diagnosis on the 2WD and 4WD Dynojet 424XLCI2.

How Nick's Garage works

A development tool, not just a power figure

At Nick's Garage on Athanasias Street in Livadia, Larnaca, we use our 2WD and 4WD Dynojet 424XLCI2 for power testing, controlled engine run-in, ECU calibration and fault diagnosis. Installed in 2010, the dyno supports steady-state testing, road-load simulation and external-channel logging for cars and buggies. The session is planned around the vehicle's condition, fuel, modifications and the question you need to answer.

Before the vehicle arrives

Plan your dyno session

Power testing, calibration, run-in and diagnosis are scoped around the vehicle and the job—not a promised horsepower figure.

Choose the purpose of the session

  • Power checkDiscuss a 2WD or 4WD measurement and the required reporting basis.
  • CalibrationAgree the ECU access, fuel, supporting hardware and tuning objective.
  • Controlled run-inPlan staged load development around the engine and its condition.
  • Fault diagnosisDescribe the symptoms and the data needed to investigate them.

Before booking

Can I book a session with my own tuner?

External tuners and workshops can arrange sessions by prior booking. Tell us who will carry out the calibration so access, responsibilities and the session scope can be agreed first.

How long does a dyno session take, and what does it cost?

A power check, calibration session, run-in programme and fault investigation are different jobs. Duration and price are confirmed after reviewing the vehicle, required work and booking availability.

Are wheel horsepower and clutch horsepower the same?

No. The archive includes different reporting bases, including WHP and clutch HP. Confirm the measurement and reporting basis for your session; the published examples are not promised gains for another car.

Engineering approach

Scope before parts

A dyno session is scoped before the vehicle is loaded. Mechanical condition, fuel, tyres, cooling and the required access to the management system must be suitable for safe testing.
