Complete builds

Engine, fuel, cooling, electronics, braking, suspension and geometry treated as one system.

How Nick's Garage works

One brief, one coordinated vehicle

A complete build starts with intended use and a realistic target. Nick’s Garage coordinates the engine, driveline, fuel, oil control, cooling, electronics, braking, suspension, geometry and validation, while naming specialist partners for their own work.

Complete car builds: real workshop projects

Explore complete vehicle programmes that bring the engine, driveline, chassis, electronics and validation together. The project pages explain our role in each build and name the specialist partners involved.

Before arranging the work

What does a complete build cover?

We plan the vehicle and its supporting systems around your intended use. Before work starts, we agree who will carry out each part and document the engine, transmission, chassis, electronics and testing requirements for your project.

How is specialist fabrication handled?

Some projects include fabrication by specialist partners. The R38 and Audi R8 project pages explain our design, integration and calibration work and credit the specialist fabrication contributions. Those roles are agreed as part of the build plan.

Engineering approach

Scope before parts

A complete build is accepted only when the target, budget, timescale and starting vehicle make sense together. Changes are documented and agreed as the project develops.
