Nick's Garage is an independent performance workshop in Livadia, Larnaca, Cyprus. Our Audi R8 work connects ECU calibration, custom turbo-system design, engine building, gearbox diagnosis and dyno development as one complete system. The published baby-blue R8 project shows our design, installation, integration and calibration scope, with specialist fabrication credited separately.

Engine repair and building are also completed by our team in Cyprus. We provide confidential engine and transmission services to professional workshops undertaking competition and high-performance projects.

For R8 V8 and V10 enquiries, we identify the exact year, engine, transmission and current specification before confirming the work. Lamborghini Huracán enquiries follow the same vehicle-specific assessment; other Lamborghini models are not assumed to share the same gearbox or repair process. Whether the goal is fault diagnosis or a wider performance build, condition, intended use and supporting hardware come before parts or power targets.

Vehicle-specific calibration

Audi R8 tuning in Cyprus

A tuning enquiry starts with the car's condition, engine and ECU identification, fuel, existing modifications and the intended use. Stage 1 or Stage 2 labels alone do not define a safe specification or a guaranteed power increase.

ECU calibration, data logging and dyno development are scoped around the actual vehicle. Turbo conversions also require the fuel system, cooling, engine and transmission to support the agreed build.

01 Transmission diagnosis and rebuilding

Audi R8 S-Tronic & Huracán LDF gearbox repair

The repair and rebuilding process is completed at our Cyprus workshop, without overseas outsourcing. Specialist transmission services are also available to professional workshops on a confidential basis.

Mechanical, clutch, mechatronic and electronic diagnosis followed by repair, rebuilding, setup and validation where the identified unit and inspection findings support that route. Audi R8 S-Tronic and Lamborghini Huracán LDF are seven-speed dual-clutch applications; not every R8 or Lamborghini uses this transmission type.

Every transmission is assessed individually. Final scope depends on inspection, unit identification, parts availability and the condition of the complete driveline.

02 Baby-blue Audi R8 project

Custom twin-turbo development

Custom twin-turbo Audi R8 build in Cyprus

Nick's Garage designed the custom twin-turbo package, then handled installation, complete-system integration, ECU calibration and development.

Custom fabrication was completed by Marios Kofteros / Tikkos.

The package was bespoke, rather than a ready-made plug-in turbo kit. The published project separates each contributor's responsibilities and includes an archive dyno verification chart recorded after 100,000 km. That chart is not presented as a before-and-after tuning comparison or a guarantee for another vehicle.

Measure, log and review

2WD and 4WD dyno development

Our Dynojet facility supports vehicle assessment and calibration with measured runs and data logging. The drivetrain, vehicle condition and purpose of the session determine the agreed test plan; a peak number alone does not describe the quality of a complete build.

Are Audi R8 and Lamborghini gearbox repairs carried out in Cyprus?
Yes. We repair and rebuild Audi R8 S-Tronic and Lamborghini Huracán LDF gearboxes in-house at Nick's Garage in Livadia, Larnaca, Cyprus. We do not send these gearboxes abroad for repair. The exact model, transmission and required work are confirmed before booking.
Do you provide transmission services to professional workshops?
Yes. We undertake specialist gearbox repairs and rebuilds for professional workshops. Technical requirements and scope are agreed directly, with each collaboration handled confidentially.
What should I send before booking?

Do you tune Audi R8 V8 and V10 models in Cyprus?
We assess R8 enquiries by exact generation, engine, ECU, transmission and current specification. Send the vehicle details and your goal so we can confirm the supported work; availability is not assumed for every year or configuration.
Do you work on Lamborghini Huracán and Gallardo models?
We accept model-specific enquiries and confirm the appropriate scope before booking. Huracán (Huracan) LDF work must not be assumed to apply to a Gallardo or another Lamborghini transmission; the exact unit and requested work need separate assessment.
Can you build a custom twin-turbo Audi R8?
Our published baby-blue R8 project documents a bespoke twin-turbo package designed and integrated by Nick's Garage, with fabrication by Marios Kofteros. A new build is scoped individually around the vehicle, hardware, intended use and agreed responsibilities.
Can you diagnose an R8 S-Tronic or Huracán LDF fault?
Clutch behaviour, shift quality, fault warnings and mechanical symptoms are assessed together with diagnostic data. Inspection determines whether adjustment, a component repair, rebuilding or another route is appropriate; symptoms alone do not establish the failed part.
Do you offer 4WD dyno testing for an Audi R8?
We have 2WD and 4WD Dynojet capability in Livadia, Larnaca. The exact car, drivetrain configuration, condition and session requirements are checked before we confirm the test plan.
Can customers elsewhere in Cyprus arrange an inspection?
Yes. Enquiries from Limassol, Nicosia, Paphos, Famagusta and elsewhere in Cyprus can start with the same vehicle-details checklist. Our workshop is in Livadia, Larnaca; contact us before travelling or arranging transport.
What about cost, turnaround, warranty or shipping a gearbox?
Inspection scope, parts availability and the condition of the unit affect the quotation and schedule. Ask us to confirm the applicable warranty terms and any transport arrangements in writing before authorising work or dispatching a gearbox; this page does not promise a fixed price, delivery time or shipping service.

ECU tune, exhaust or mechanical changes?

For a car with factory hardware, start with its condition, goal and ECU support. A remap does not automatically require an exhaust or turbo. If the target exceeds the current configuration, review logs and measurements and identify the necessary cooling, fuel, engine or transmission changes.
