Independent workshop support

Every vehicle starts with inspection and a clear plan

Nick's Garage provides independent BMW ECU tuning and remapping, diagnostics, servicing, engine and gearbox work for daily-driven road cars and competition projects.

For a Stage 1 or Stage 2 enquiry, send the exact model, year, engine, ECU and current hardware. We confirm software compatibility, the intended use and how the result will be checked before agreeing the work.

Every model is considered individually according to its year, engine, transmission, present condition, parts availability and intended use. The workshop confirms the exact scope before accepting the booking.

Workshop enquiries: Monday–Friday, 09:00–13:00 and 14:00–18:00. Find Nick's Garage in Livadia, Larnaca.

BMW drift project records

BMW engines

Repair, rebuild and development

Engine work begins with diagnosis and measurement. The plan can include internal repairs or rebuilding, cylinder-head and valvetrain work, oil and cooling-system improvements, turbo-system integration, fuel-system changes and protection strategies.

  • Petrol and diesel engine diagnosis
  • Mechanical repairs and measured assembly
  • Cooling, lubrication and fuel-system work
  • Turbocharger and supporting-system upgrades
  • Run-in, logging and dyno validation where required

BMW gearboxes

Transmission and driveline support

Transmission work is planned around the exact gearbox, symptoms, vehicle specification and power target. Inspection comes first so the repair, rebuild or upgrade is appropriate for the complete vehicle.

  • Manual, automatic and dual-clutch systems
  • Fault diagnosis and service planning
  • Repair and rebuilding
  • Clutch, differential and driveline integration
  • Upgrades for road and performance use

Review our gearbox assessment process before enquiring. Support and the repair scope are confirmed for the exact transmission after assessment.

Modifications and upgrades

Performance built around how the BMW will be used

Upgrades can cover intake, exhaust, turbocharging, fuel delivery, cooling, suspension, braking, geometry, electronics and ECU calibration. Parts are selected to work together, with attention to reliability, drivability and the real target.

Dyno development is available for supported applications on the Nick's Garage 2WD and 4WD Dynojet.

Common BMW enquiries

Answers before workshop booking

Are you an authorised BMW service centre?
No. Nick's Garage is an independent workshop and is not affiliated with, authorised by, sponsored by or endorsed by BMW AG, BMW Group or an authorised BMW service centre. BMW model names identify the vehicles discussed, not an official relationship.
Which BMW models can I enquire about?
Send the exact model, year, engine and transmission so we can confirm the appropriate work. The vehicle's condition, parts availability and requested service are reviewed before booking; support for one configuration does not establish support for every model.
Can you repair BMW engines and gearboxes?
Work can include diagnosis, repair, rebuilding and supporting oil, cooling, fuel or driveline systems. Inspection findings and the identified engine or transmission determine the agreed scope, rather than a fault symptom alone.
Can you discuss BMW tuning, upgrades and dyno testing?
Yes. Calibration and upgrades are assessed against the actual hardware, fuel, vehicle condition and intended use. Our 2WD and 4WD Dynojet supports suitable applications after the drivetrain and session requirements are checked; a generic stage label does not guarantee a power increase.
What do the BMW photographs and project links show?
The M140i and 435d photographs are workshop Dynojet archive examples. The separate Sergio E46 and Doros E30 records document competition projects; their specifications and responsibilities should not be assumed to describe an everyday road-car repair or another BMW model.
Can BMW owners elsewhere in Cyprus arrange a visit?
Yes. Enquiries from Limassol, Nicosia, Paphos, Famagusta and elsewhere in Cyprus can start remotely with the same vehicle details. The workshop is in Livadia, Larnaca; contact us before travelling or arranging transport.
What should I send before booking?
  • BMW model, year, mileage, engine and transmission
  • Current modifications, fuel, symptoms and diagnostic codes
  • The servicing, repair or upgrade requested and intended use
  • Budget range, location, preferred timing and available reports or photographs
Send these details before arranging an inspection so we can discuss the appropriate next step.
What about cost, turnaround and warranty?
The quotation and schedule depend on the inspection findings, agreed scope and parts availability. Confirm the applicable warranty and any transport arrangements in writing before authorising work; this page does not promise a fixed price, completion date or shipping service.

Parts and the next step

Start with the actual vehicle

Choose the relevant route. Results show listed applications and do not confirm fitment.

ECU tune, exhaust or mechanical changes?

For a car with factory hardware, start with its condition, goal and ECU support. A remap does not automatically require an exhaust or turbo. If the target exceeds the current configuration, review logs and measurements and identify the necessary cooling, fuel, engine or transmission changes.
