Custom ECU tuning in Cyprus

Custom ECU tuning is carried out in-house by Nick's Garage. Calibration is built around your engine, ECU, fuel and the way you use the car. Nick's Garage combines diagnostics, wiring and integration expertise with 2WD / 4WD Dynojet development for road-performance and competition cars.

Discuss your ECU and vehicle

Standalone ECU platforms

Tell us the exact ECU model, software version and current installation. We check the access, sensors and vehicle specification before confirming calibration or development work.

The car determines the calibration

We start with the engine, turbo system, fuel, cooling, transmission, sensors and intended use. Depending on the agreed work, calibration can include fuel and ignition settings, boost control, response, logging and engine-protection strategies. The required functions must be supported by the actual ECU and installation.

Our capability across the platforms above is independent of dealership status.

Configuration, testing and a clear record

  1. Identify the ECU, firmware, existing calibration and installed hardware.
  2. Check the mechanical condition, wiring, sensors and known faults.
  3. Agree the calibration scope, test conditions, logging and responsibilities.
  4. Review the results and discuss the appropriate follow-up and maintenance.

The Dynojet 424XLCI2 supports 2WD and 4WD development. A baseline power check, a complete calibration and fault investigation are different jobs; we confirm what your session includes.

Nissan GTR R35: diagnosis and EcuTek custom tuning

This full bolt-on GTR with upgraded turbos was diagnosed, its problem resolved, custom-tuned and handed back to the owner in less than three days. The custom ECU calibration was completed in-house by Nick's Garage, using EcuTek with Godzilla mode.

Custom tuning questions

Can you tune an existing standalone ECU?

Yes, subject to identifying the exact ECU, firmware, access and installed hardware. Send the ECU model, vehicle specification, current calibration information and known faults so we can confirm the work supported.

Is custom tuning the same as installing an ECU?

No. Installation and wiring, initial configuration, calibration and final validation are separate parts of the job. An existing installation may need checking or correction before calibration begins. We agree the scope for the actual car.

Do you tune factory ECUs as well?

We assess factory ECU calibration and remapping enquiries by exact application. The Raceroms remapping service and EcuTek application page explain related options. A particular tool, licence or ECU family does not establish support for every model year.

Can custom tuning be arranged remotely?

Nick's Garage assesses remote tuning requests by the exact vehicle, ECU, equipment and available logs. A responsible local mechanic must carry out the required checks beside the car. We confirm suitability, the calibration scope, logging and validation before agreeing a remote session.

Will a custom tune fix a mechanical fault or guarantee a power figure?

No. Mechanical, fuel-system, wiring and sensor faults need assessment. The result depends on the actual engine, hardware, condition and fuel. Published project results describe their own cars and are not a guaranteed gain for another vehicle.

What should I send for a quotation?

Vehicle, engine, ECU model and firmware if known, current modifications, fuel, intended use, existing faults, available logs and preferred timing. We confirm the work, required parts, quotation and applicable terms before proceeding.
