How Nick's Garage works
We repair and rebuild Nissan GTR GR6, Audi R8 S-Tronic and Lamborghini Huracan LDF gearboxes in-house at Nick's Garage in Livadia, Larnaca, Cyprus. These gearboxes are not sent abroad for repair. We also work on manual and competition driveline systems. The exact vehicle, transmission and inspection findings determine the repair, parts and validation required.
Technical collaboration
We undertake engine and transmission repairs and rebuilds for professional workshops working on competition and high-performance cars. The work is completed in-house at our Cyprus workshop, with the technical scope agreed directly.
Each collaboration is handled confidentially. Discuss a technical collaboration with our team →
Before the vehicle arrives
Diagnosis comes before a parts list. Manual, dual-clutch and competition driveline work is assessed as part of the complete vehicle.
Manual, dual-clutch and competition transmission enquiries are assessed by exact vehicle and gearbox. A shared vehicle badge or a catalogue entry does not establish that a unit or upgrade will fit.
Symptoms and fault codes help scope the assessment, but inspection may be needed before the required repair and parts can be identified. Any diagnostic work, repair scope and charges must be agreed before work proceeds.
No repair or replacement route is assumed before assessment. Mechanical condition, controls, clutch and the rest of the driveline are considered together; the proposed work depends on what is found.

Explore the project →We identify the exact gearbox, its condition and shift-control system before planning the work. Manual, sequential, automatic and dual-clutch designs each need their own assessment. The installation, custom work or repair plan is specific to your gearbox and vehicle.
Send the gearbox make and model, vehicle, engine and torque target, shift-control equipment, symptoms and available diagnostic or inspection reports. The required mechanical and control-system scope is confirmed before parts are specified.

Start with diagnosis. If parts are needed, use the correct transmission catalogue rather than choosing a component from the vehicle badge alone.

Bring the symptoms, fault codes, service history and existing modifications. An upgrade kit is not automatically the solution to a fault.

Diagnosis comes before parts. Mechanical work, control strategy and calibration are checked together so that a transmission solution works as part of the complete vehicle.
