Nissan R35 GTR Superstock™ 7 Plate Clutch Kit

The Nissan R35 GTR Superstock™ 7 Plate Clutch Kit is the entry tier of the Dodson range for the GR6 DCT transmission. It directly replaces the OE clutch packs in the R35 GTR and supports builds up to 1,100hp with improved holding power over the factory configuration.

Friction Plates and Steels The kit includes 14 Dodson proprietary friction plates. The A-clutch and B-clutch stacks each carry 7 plates. This adds one plate per stack over the OE configuration of 6 plates per clutch. Every plate uses Dodson high-performance friction paper for a higher coefficient of friction and improved heat resistance over OE. High-strength, high-carbon, heat-treated steels pair with the plates and hold up under repeated high-load engagement.

Where the GTR Superstock Clutch Kit Fits The GTR Superstock Clutch Kit adds capacity over the factory clutch without changing the OE basket and piston architecture. It suits Nissan R35 GTR builds making more torque than the OE clutch holds, yet stops short of needing forged baskets and aluminum pistons.
