The Dodson 9 Plate GR6 FWD Clutch Kit (DMS-8505) upgrades the FWD clutch pack inside the GR6 DCT transmission used in the Nissan R35 GTR. The FWD clutch controls torque transfer from the transmission to the front differential in the all-wheel-drive system.
Plate Configuration
DMS-8505 replaces the factory 6-plate clutch pack with 9 Dodson proprietary high-performance friction plates. The 9-plate configuration delivers approximately 50 percent more friction surface area than OE. The result is improved FWD clutch torque transfer and reliable performance in high-horsepower AWD builds.
