How do we choose the right battery?
We check the engine, starting requirements, electrical loads, charging system, mounting space and terminal arrangement. Capacity or engine size alone does not determine suitability.
Is the Red Top 20 a 20 Ah battery?
No. The number is the model name. Varley lists the Red Top 20 at 13 Ah, the Red Top 25 at 20 Ah and the Red Top 35 at 28 Ah.
Can I use my existing charger with a lithium battery?
We first check whether the charger and vehicle charging system meet the exact lithium model's requirements. AGM charging instructions do not automatically apply to lithium batteries.
How do I get a price and delivery estimate?
Send us the battery model or vehicle details. We confirm the appropriate specification, supplier availability, final price and lead time before an order is agreed.
