Application-led support

Metal Guard engine, transmission and fuel products

Engine CLP, Transmission CLP, Fuel CLP and Injector Cleaner CLP are separate products in the manufacturer range. Tell us which system you want to treat so the product and its instructions can be checked for that application.

Engine CLP

Metal Guard's engine oil treatment is available in different pack sizes. Send the engine details and oil specification. Product selection and quantity are checked against the manufacturer's current instructions and the engine's requirements.

Transmission CLP

A separate treatment for transmission applications. The exact gearbox, fluid specification and service requirements matter. Ask us about your transmission before selecting a product; a shared model name does not establish suitability.

Fuel CLP and Injector Cleaner CLP

The range also includes fuel additives and injector-cleaning products. These are different from engine and transmission oil treatments. We check the fuel type, product label and intended application before supply.

These are separate product ranges with their own instructions. We identify the system and the exact product before advising on use.

Does an additive replace an oil change or repair?

Normal servicing still applies. If the car has a fault, noise or warning light, we assess it through the relevant engine or gearbox service rather than treating an additive as a repair.
